  2. This was the best sale! If you live in Cali...you must go. Queen Duvets are $99 dollar...$15 dollar pillow cases and $49 dollar sheets.

I went yesterday and bought so much stuff that I can do a collage with all the Shabby chic bags I have accumulated.

    Lova Ya Shabby!

various internet blogs say five stores to half the stores to all stores will be closing. say it ain't so, rachel! regroup! reorganize! but don't close my favorites!

  15. It was with great sadness I learnt what has happened to your dream & years of hard work. I like so many other woman world wide found that the *Shabby* can be *Chic*, you put me back on track by bringing out all my treasures & using them instead of hiding them away in my cupboards in case they were broken.
I will be thinking of you & know you & your great team will get through this to emerge even stronger.

    Best wishes

    Lyn xxx

  18. Hi, I am so sorry for your hard ship, I understand how challenging this time is for you and your WONDERFUL employees. I just lost a house, I know how this feels. I've been a fan of Shabby Chic for 15 years! I remember the first time I walked into your store in Chicago and I remember the first thing I bought, I still have it! I am cheering for you to make it! You have so many fans! we all love your "stuff" I just bought my first piece of furniture and am waiting it's arrival. Good Luck to you!! I know you'll pull through! you are far too talented not to and with the help of your advisor's and staff you'll come back strong! I look forward to your new book!! we're praying for you! GOD BLESS!

  19. I really hope you find strength in this hard time in your life.
I too have been having a rough time, we moved our family of 4 (now we are 5) across the country from our beloved SF and now find ourselves close to unemployed and in a place we don't want to be in, with three little mouths to feed.

I do want to say that it was Shabby Chic that I decorated my son's nursery with (who is now almost 7) with the adorable bumper (polka dots on one side and strips on the other) and skirt, pillows, sheets, etc. It created such a beautiful, peaceful, cozy nursery that I still cherish. My second son used the same bedding...and I NEVER tired of it!

You have a gift, wonderful talent. I know you will find your path. Setbacks often show you what you were meant to see and do.

    Good luck!
